About this experience

If you’re between 13-18 years old and consider yourself a chocoholic, then this is the class for you! Learn about all types of chocolate, how to work with it to create delicious and beautiful treats including truffles, bonbons and candy bars. Discover the science behind your favorite chocolate products and learn skills and techniques you’ll be able to use at home.

PLEASE NOTE: BOOKINGS ARE FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE DAYS FROM 5:30-8:30PM - SIX HOURS OF INSTRUCTION. So if you're booking for a Wednesday, your class will take place on Wednesday and Thursday. If you're booking for a Monday, your class will take place on a Monday and Tuesday.

- Introduction to Chocolate Production
- Taste the World Through Chocolate
- Chocolate Tempering
- Mendiants & Piping Techniques
- Ganache & Truffles

DAY 2
- Molded Chocolates
- Painting with Cocoa Butter
- Flavors & Fillings
- Bonbons & Bars

Students will bring home lots of their delicious creations as well as getting to sample additional products throughout the duration of the class.

The class is taught by Miriam Gitelman, Chef & Owner of Coco Jolie Fine Chocolates & Confections. Miriam is a graduate of the International Culinary Center with a certificate in Professional Pastry Arts, and has studied with master chocolatiers around the world.
